MJT Partners Pty Ltd is seeking a capable bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of SME clients across diverse industries in Australia. You will handle bookkeeping, payroll, BAS/GST, and client communications, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role involves processing AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end tasks, while supporting CA/CPA qualification journey and flexible work from home arrangements. Strong data integrity and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Working toward CA or CPA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of SME clients.
• Process AP/AR, invoicing, collections and supplier payments.
• Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process end-to-end payroll including STP reporting and superannuation.
• Prepare BAS/IAS and ensure GST coding accuracy.
• Engage with clients and resolve day-to-day queries.
• Assist with month-end close and basic management reporting.
