Job summary

Salexo Consulting is seeking a Junior DDA/Accessibility Consultant to join our Sydney team. You will learn to review architectural drawings, identify accessibility issues and provide practical solutions that fit both design and compliance requirements.

You will work with experienced consultants, gain training and mentoring, and gradually take on more responsibility on a variety of building projects across the NCC/DDA framework.

Qualifications

Reading architectural drawings and understanding basic design intent.
Familiarity with NCC/BCA and Australian Standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities

Reviewing architectural drawings and documentation.
Assessing buildings against NCC, DDA and Australian Standards.
Identify and resolve accessibility and compliance issues.
Prepare technical reports and advice.
Collaborate with architects, builders and developers.
Attend project meetings and site inspections.
Progressively take responsibility for your own projects.
