Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty is recruiting an experienced Jumbo Operator for its Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. This full-time FIFO role includes meals and on-site accommodation with flights provided from major Australian airports.

You will operate underground jumbo equipment and support service crew activities, while upholding a strong safety culture. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in service crew, charge up and bogger operations, plus proven ability to work safely in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Underground jumbo operations experience required (Essential).
• Experience in bogging, charge up and service crew advantageous.
• Proven experience operating underground heavy equipment (Essential).
• Strong focus on safety.
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Hold a current Manual Australian Drivers Licence.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground jumbo equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support service crew, bogger and charge-up activities as required.
• Maintain and troubleshoot underground mining equipment.
• Adhere to PYBAR safety policies and procedures.

The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.

THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Jumbo Operator to join the PYBAR team at the Rosebery Mine. We're seeking a skilled operator who has naturally progressed through key underground mining roles, with hands-on experience in Service Crew, Charge Up, and Bogger Operation.

This is a full-time FIFO position offering an immediate start, with meals and accommodation provided on site. Flights are included, with points of hire from major Australian Airports.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Demonstrated experience in underground Jumbo operations (Essential)
• Experience in Bogging, Charge up and Service Crew (Advantageous)
• Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (Essential)
• A strong focus on safety
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• Hold a current Manual Australian Drivers Licence
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.
