Job summary

Ghanda Clothing in South Geelong, VIC, is seeking a Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on precise cabinetry production and timely delivery of quality joinery works.

You will read plans, prepare cut lists, and operate workshop machinery including CNC, panel saw, and edge banders. A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail is preferred, with flexibility for part-time or full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in joinery or cabinetry.
• Sound knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
• Experience using panel saw, edge banders and CNC machines.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembling cabinetry and joinery products to specification.
• Interpreting plans and preparing cutting lists for each job.
• Measuring, cutting, routing, gluing, and assembling timber components with precision.
• Operating CNC, panel saw and other workshop machinery safely.
• Ensuring accurate alignment, fitting, and finishing across all joinery work.
• Working collaboratively with the broader team to meet deadlines.
