FGJ L'EVEILLE JOINERY PTY LTD is seeking two experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker Tradesmen for full-time roles in Pakenham, Victoria. You will fabricate custom cabinets, read drawings, operate modern machinery, and may install on-site, contributing to high-quality joinery projects.

This role requires 3–5 years of cabinet making experience, strong attention to detail, CAD knowledge preferred, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a growing joinery business.

Qualifications

• Current carpentry and cabinet making qualifications or trade certification.
• 3–5 years proven cabinet making or bespoke joinery experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with traditional hand tools and modern woodworking machinery.
• Knowledge of timber species, materials and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to project requirements.
• Valid driver's licence for potential on-site work.
• Commitment to health and safety practices.
• Preferred: CAD design software experience for cabinetry projects.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and construct custom cabinets and joinery pieces per design specs.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan projects.
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
• Select timbers and materials for each project.
• Perform precise cutting, shaping, joining and finishing work.
• Assemble components and undertake on-site installation when required.
• Conduct quality checks throughout fabrication to ensure standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop and properly maintain tools.
• Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and workplace practices.
