Job summary

Emmetts seeks an experienced John Deere technician to join our centralised technical support network in a Technical Communicator role. You will be the link between branch technicians, service leaders and Deere’s DTAC, providing advanced diagnostics and remote support.

Based at a branch in Victoria, you will diagnose CAN bus, ethernet, hydraulic and electrical faults, share knowledge, mentor colleagues and participate in Deere-accredited programs to grow technical capability across our network.

Qualifications

• Qualified technician with John Deere diesel expertise and diagnostic capabilities.
• Experience providing remote and on-site technical support across a network.
• Ability to mentor and develop others in a workshop and field environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex fault diagnosis with DTAC collaboration.
• Provide advanced remote and on-site technical support to technicians.
• Utilise JDLink and Connected Support to manage machine health.
