Job summary

TeamViewer is seeking a Customer Retention Specialist for the Japan market, based in Australia, to proactively manage subscriptions at renewal. You will engage with existing customers to confirm needs, address concerns, and guide renewals to drive long-term retention.

You will collaborate with Sales, Support, and Finance to optimize renewal outcomes, analyze customer data, and implement targeted retention strategies for different segments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in customer retention or related roles.
• Fluent in Japanese with business-level English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Re-confirm renewal needs and ensure solutions align with business goals.
• Respond to renewal inquiries via phone and email (terms, billing, plans).
• Conduct needs analysis to map solutions and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with retention team to gather feedback and identify churn risks.
