Job summary

MacKillop Family Services Pty in Thornton, NSW, seeks a House Manager ITC to lead the Therapeutic Youth Work team and ensure high-quality care within a trauma-informed framework. You will coordinate delivery of therapeutic services and support staff in a residential ITC setting.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in relevant field and experience in residential therapeutic environments, with supervision, administration and compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work, community services, management or relevant field.
• Experience developing behavioural management programs for children/adolescents with challenging behaviours.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and exercise sound judgement when working independently.
• Knowledge of residential care, especially in a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ITC Therapeutic Youth Work team and provide supervision and development.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic care in a trauma-informed framework to support healing and development of young people.
