Job summary

Lucia Roche Estate in the Hunter Valley is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. This hands-on role suits a chef who takes pride in quality, consistency and organised service within an Italian-inspired menu.

Take ownership of your station, cook to recipe, and work closely with the Head Chef to deliver timely, superb dishes while upholding food safety standards in a modern kitchen. We offer a supportive team, development opportunities and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or similar senior section role.
• Commercial cookery qualifications.
• Ability to work across sections (pasta, grill, larder, pizza).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an allocated section, from mise en place through service and close-down.
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to recipe, portion and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and other sections to deliver smooth, timely service.
• Maintain strong food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep planning, waste control and kitchen organisation.
• Support and guide junior and casual kitchen team members when required.
