Job summary

NEC Corporation in Darwin invites applications for the 2027 School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship program. Trainees gain hands-on IT exposure while studying, with two days per week at school and two days on VET study for the pathway, or full-time for the Traineeship pathway.

The program leads to a nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Technology, delivered with CDU as the training partner. Applicants must be Australian residents and meet schooling requirements.

Qualifications

• Formal Year 12 completion or ongoing schooling required.
• Certificate III in Information Technology preferred or pursued during traineeship.
• Willingness to commit to a 12-month traineeship and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship program.
