Job summary

The Department of Customer Service is offering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander school-based traineeships in NSW. You’ll study for a Certificate III in Business while spending one day a week at a NSW Government service centre and continuing your school studies.

No prior work experience is required, and mentors will support you throughout the two-year program. Positions are available at Tweed Heads and Cessnock Service Centres.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with general enquiries and answer basic questions.
• Assist customers to complete forms and paperwork.
• Provide information about the requirements needed to complete transactions.
• Learn to use Service NSW systems and customer service processes.
• Work alongside experienced team members and learn from their knowledge and experience.
