Job summary

Respect Aged Care is seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Officer to join our IT Service Desk in Tasmania. This hands-on role covers Level 1 and Level 2 support for a diverse range of staff, residents and partners.

Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you will troubleshoot issues across desktops, networks and core systems, coordinate IT equipment procurement, and contribute to projects and process improvements while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in an IT helpdesk or service desk.
• Proven ability to provide high-quality technical support.
• Entry-level IT qualification or certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to document and maintain systems and applications.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cybersecurity basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for staff, residents and partners.
• Troubleshoot desktops, mobile devices, networks and core IT systems.
• Escalate issues and manage SLAs.
• Coordinate procurement and logistics of IT equipment.
• Participate in IT projects and change management.
• Maintain knowledge base and documentation.
• Join on-call roster as required.
