Hullbot, a startup in Sydney, Australia, seeks an IT Administrator to own the day-to-day technology supporting a growing team. You will handle laptops, SaaS accounts, and field equipment, becoming the primary contact for IT and shaping future processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT experience in internships, helpdesk, or home lab projects.
• Genuine service mindset; helping colleagues is core to the role.
• Confidence troubleshooting Windows; willingness to learn Linux.
• Passionate about networking and IT in general.
• Clear, patient communication; explain fixes in simple terms.
• Organised and methodical with good follow-through.
• Prefer documenting or automating problems to avoid repeats.
• Curious about how systems work; comfortable in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT support; triage, resolve, escalate as needed.
• Manage hardware end-to-end: setup, imaging, asset tracking, repairs.
• Run IT storeroom; track stock, assignments, spare parts.
• Own onboarding and offboarding for staff; access control.
• Handle day-to-day user accounts across Google Workspace, M365, Slack, Notion.
• Support office IT: wifi, meeting rooms, printers, shared workstations.
• Maintain basic IT documentation, runbooks, and asset records.
• Learn and implement endpoint security, MDM enrollment, OS patching.
