Archies Footwear is seeking an IT & Systems Administrator to safeguard our tech and enable staff to work securely and efficiently. Based in Melbourne four days a week, you’ll own Google Workspace, devices, access, and security.

You’ll report to the Ecommerce & Technology Manager and shape IT foundations as we grow. You’ll gain hands-on experience across network security, email authentication, the ACSC Essential Eight, and AI governance, with a supportive tech manager guiding development in a

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years IT support or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on Google Workspace administration experience.
• Comfort supporting macOS and Windows devices.
• Experience with an MDM platform (Jamf, Kandji, Intune or Google endpoint).
• Understanding of networking basics, MFA and security best practices.
• Excellent documentation practices for IT processes.
• Ability to communicate tech clearly to non-technical staff.

Responsabilités

• Own Google Workspace security, user management and policies.
• Onboard/offboard staff: devices, accounts and access provisioning.
• Manage access controls and password management, plus SSO rollout.
• Administer Mac and Windows devices via MDM and endpoint protection.
• Procure hardware/software and maintain asset and license records.
• Support office network (UniFi), Wi‑Fi, printers and shared devices.
• Manage domains, DNS and email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
• Assess AI tools, manage access and uphold AI usage policy.
• Provide day‑to‑day IT support and run security awareness training.
