Job description

Satterley is more than one of Australia's leading private property developers — we’re pioneers in creating vibrant, sustainable communities. For over 45 years we’ve been shaping neighbourhoods across Western Australia, Victoria and Queensland. Built on a legacy of excellence and innovation, we’re passionate about creating places that truly matter.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will act as our internal technical champion, ensuring the smooth performance of our IT infrastructure tailored to support our national land development, built form and commercial property operations.

Providing Australia wide support whilst based at our West Perth office you will have primary responsibility for overseeing the organisations existing technology infrastructure, ensuring systems, networks, and IT services run securely, efficiently, and reliably. You will manage system maintenance, improve processes, and support technology and digital transformation where required.

Operating in a mostly Microsoft 365 (Azure cloud) environment, you will hold primary responsibility for our internal business applications, user lifecycles, and automation. You will serve as the internal administrator for our Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online ecosystems, while overseeing our business telephony systems and cloud identity governance.

Given that we partner with an outsourced Managed Service Provider (MSP) a critical component of this role will be to serve as the primary technical liaison coordinating with the MSP to deliver seamless IT delivery across our Perth, interstate and onsite Sales offices.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee and provide direction of all existing IT infrastructure (in consultation with external partners) which links with business strategy and objectives to enhance company operations.

Oversee servers, networking hardware, and cloud systems to maintain uptime and performance.

Oversee business continuity planning and strategy to mitigate risk of lost time events.

Ensuring the company's cyber security and data management meets industry standards and complies with both internal Policies and external Regulatory obligations.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to determine and implement their system and process change needs.

Manage third-party IT vendor relationships, serving as the primary internal interface and escalation point for our outsourced MSP and website agency and hosting partners.

Support business transformation projects as directed by the IT Manager.

Align IT initiatives with business goals, ensuring technology supports operational efficiency.

Enhance IT processes and procedures for greater efficiency, including use of automation and AI to build scalable internal capabilities.

Establish, maintain and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards.

About You:

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with either a Tertiary qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science or relevant qualifications (e.g. Microsoft certification) or equivalent significant experience.

Strong understanding of IT systems, cloud computing, infrastructure and network management.

Experience with security protocols, firewall management and disaster recovery.

Strong project management and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven experience working alongside and coordinating an external MSP to deliver core cloud computing and infrastructure services.

Strong application-level administrative experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.

Hands‑on experience configuring Microsoft Teams Phone, cloud-based business telephony or VoIP configurations.

Previous experience within technology/digital transformation programs will be highly regarded.

You will be required to obtain or provide a National Police Clearance no older than 3 months as part of the recruitment process.

What we offer:

A competitive base salary plus superannuation

Hybrid working with one day working from home

A comprehensive benefits and wellbeing program
