Job summary

Intrax Consulting Engineers in Melbourne is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our hybrid IT team. You will manage Windows Server, Entra ID, Azure and Intune, ensuring secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure for our Australian operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in similar roles and solid experience with Microsoft 365, hybrid environments and security. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and vendors to maintain services and improve resilience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Solid grounding in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure.
• Experience with Windows Server and hybrid environments.
• Strong networking, security and endpoint management skills.
• Clear communication and a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Manage Intune, endpoint compliance, app deployment and device lifecycle.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve incidents.
• Monitor infrastructure, backups, patching and performance.
• Support cybersecurity work and vulnerability remediation.
• Support NetSuite, Box and other business-critical systems.
• Maintain documentation and work with vendors to improve services.

What You'll Do

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure and Microsoft 365
• Manage Intune, endpoint compliance, app deployment and device lifecycle
• Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve incidents
• Monitor infrastructure, backups, patching and performance
• Support cybersecurity work, including Sophos MDR and vulnerability remediation
• Support NetSuite, Box and other business-critical systems
• Maintain documentation and work with vendors to improve services

What You Bring

• Ideally 3 plus years in a Systems Administrator or similar role
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure experience
• Windows Server and hybrid environment experience
• Solid grounding in networking, security and endpoint management
• Clear communication and a service mindset

What Sets You Apart

You take initiative, fix root causes and work independently while keeping stakeholders informed. Experience with NetSuite, Box or Sophos, or certifications such as MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300, Security+ or ITIL, will help you hit the ground running.
