What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Building Services team across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and ESD.
• Own delivery quality, utilisation and commercial performance for the department.
• Build and hold strong client relationships with developers, architects, builders.
• Win and grow work by turning technical strength into commercial outcomes.
• Coach and mentor engineers, build capability and strengthen succession depth.
• Partner with the GM NSW and national Building Services leaders to align strategy and standards.

Day to day

• Set priorities and workload across the disciplines and keep delivery on track.
• Review technical output and make sure it meets Intrax quality and compliance standards.
• Meet with clients, scope new work and support fee proposals.
• Support engineers through problem solving, design decisions and career conversations.
• Keep a clear line of sight on project financials, resourcing and risk.

You may

• Come from a consultancy, client-side or contractor background in building services or MEP.
• Have led a single discipline and be ready to step up across a full integrated team.
• Bring deep expertise in one discipline and strong commercial instincts across the rest.

What you bring

• Significant experience in building services or MEP consultancy, ideally in the Australian built environment.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams, with a style that builds trust and accountability.
• Strong commercial and business development capability, with a track record of winning and delivering work.
• Relevant engineering qualifications and professional registration (CPEng or working towards).Clear communication and the judgement to balance client, quality and commercial outcomes.
