Job summary

VALD is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the VALD IT Ops team. You will bridge day-to-day user support with modern workplace administration, handling L1/2 issues, device enrollment, and onboarding for Windows and macOS.

You'll work with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Defender, and grow skills in endpoint security and cloud administration while delivering a seamless user experience for a global client base.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows/macOS environments.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions (like Microsoft Intune) and standard security practices.
• Exposure to PowerShell scripting or a strong desire to learn.
• Experienced problem solver with strong communication skills.
• Proactive and driven, with a focus on root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated Support: Provide high-quality L1/2 support, troubleshooting OS, network, and application issues.
• Modern Endpoint Management: Administer Microsoft Intune for device enrollment and configuration.
• Identity & Access Management: Manage user lifecycles and troubleshoot authentication within Entra ID and M365.
• Hardware Heroics: Configure and deploy laptops and workspace setups for new starters.
• Process Improvement: Develop scripts, automations, or docs to resolve recurring issues.
• Team Collaboration: Assist with IT infrastructure projects and learn from senior IT Ops leads.
