Job summary

VALD in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the VALD IT Ops team. You will bridge day-to-day user support with modern workplace administration, own escalations, and assist in cloud administration with Intune, Entra ID, and Defender.

Qualifications

1+ years' experience in IT support or helpdesk.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows/macOS.
Familiarity with MDM (Intune) and basic security practices.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/2 support for OS, network, and applications across the business.
Administer Microsoft Intune device enrollment and configuration updates for Windows and macOS.
Manage user lifecycles, access permissions, and authentication issues with Entra ID and M365.
Configure and deploy hardware for new starters and Day 1 readiness.
Develop scripts, automation, or documentation to streamline service desk processes.
Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects.
