Mansell Taylor Consulting is seeking a customer-focused IT Support Officer to join the technology team in Osborne Park, WA. You will provide a mix of face-to-face and remote IT support across desktops, hardware, software, and networks, delivering exceptional service and ownership of issues.

Ideal candidates will have experience in IT/desktop support, strong communication skills, and a solid foundation in TCP/IP networking.

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face and remote IT support to users.
  • Resolve IT incidents and service requests.
  • Deliver hands-on desktop support for PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot Windows desktop, hardware and software issues.
  • Support Active Directory and Windows environments.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (DNS/DHCP/TCP/IP).
  • Install, configure and support business applications and IT systems.
  • Escalate complex issues to specialist IT teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors/service providers to resolve issues.
  • Assist with IT projects and system upgrades.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call roster.

Are you an experienced IT Support or Desktop Support professional who enjoys solving technical problems and delivering exceptional customer service?

We’re looking for a customer-focused IT Support Officer to join a collaborative technology team based in Osborne Park.

You’ll provide a mix of face-to-face and remote IT support, troubleshooting issues across desktops, hardware, software, Windows environments, business applications and networks.

This is a broad, hands-on support role where your ability to communicate with users, provide exceptional customer service and take ownership of technical issues is just as important as your technical capability.

Some networking experience would be highly regarded, you should be comfortable with basic network troubleshooting and have a good understanding of TCP/IP networking.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing face-to-face and remote IT support to users across the business.
  • Managing and resolving IT incidents and service requests.
  • Delivering hands-on desktop support across PCs, laptops, printers and peripherals.
  • Troubleshooting Windows desktop, hardware and software issues.
  • Supporting Active Directory and Windows environments.
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity and network-related faults.
  • Working with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network devices.
  • Installing, configuring and supporting business applications and IT systems.
  • Escalating more complex technical issues to specialist IT teams where required.
  • Working with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues.
  • Assisting with IT projects, system upgrades and technology improvements.
  • Participating in an after-hours on-call roster when required.
  • Providing IT support across different business sites as required.
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical support skills with exceptional customer service.

You’ll be confident dealing directly with users, able to explain technical issues to non-technical people and comfortable taking ownership of issues through to resolution.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
  • Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Technical Support, Level 2 Support or Site Support.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience providing both face-to-face and remote IT support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and desktop environments.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server.
  • Good foundational networking knowledge, including TCP/IP.
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • The ability to troubleshoot PCs, printers and other IT hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader IT team.
  • A valid Australian driver’s licence and vehicle.

You must have the right to work in Australia and hold a valid Australian driver’s licence to be considered.
