Job summary

TAFE NSW’s Centres of Excellence in Sydney seeks an IT Support Officer to deliver high-quality technical support to staff, students and stakeholders across the Construction Centre of Excellence and the Institute of Applied Technology Digital.

Based from Kingswood or Meadowbank, you will provide both virtual and on-site support, diagnosing a broad range of issues and contributing to service improvements within a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

• $103,050 - $108,266 salary package - includes base salary ($90,971 - $95387), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As an IT Support Officer you will support the Construction Centre of Excellence and the Institute of Applied Technology Digital, a National Centre of Excellence based from either Kingswood or Meadowbank campus to provide high-quality technical support to staff, students and stakeholders.

Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will deliver both virtual and on-site support, diagnosing and resolving a broad range of intermediate to complex technical issues while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a tangible impact by supporting innovative learning environments and critical technology services. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will manage competing priorities, work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support services.

In line with our working flexibly procedure, this position requires onsite campus attendance at your base campus of either Kingswood or Meadowbank, for a minimum of three days per week with the option and flexibility of working two days at home. Based on operational needs you may be required to travel to the other campus and on occasion attend to work outside normal business hours when required.
