Job summary

Balance Recruitment is sourcing an IT Support Officer for a Brookvale-based organisation. The role mixes 1st and 2nd line support, focusing on password issues, connectivity, hardware and cybersecurity within a Windows-centric environment using Active Directory and Microsoft 365, with some Mac work.

The ideal candidate will have commercial tech support experience, relevant IT certifications, and a customer-centric approach, and be available to work onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Commercial tech support experience, ideally in Windows.
• Cert IV or IT Diploma; MS or Cisco certs are a bonus.
• Customer-centric and approachable.
• Onsite work five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support.
• Troubleshoot password issues, connectivity, hardware, and cybersecurity.
• Support Windows and Mac users in an Active Directory/365 environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and timely issue resolution.

IT Support Officer - Brookvale based - up to $95K base

A well known, well regarded organisation, with a large user base.

They are based in the Brookvale-Warringah area, and offer free parking on site. There are also bus options nearby.

The role

The role is a mix of 1st and 2nd level tech support - most of the issues relating to password issues, connectivity problems, hardware & cybersecurity.

The environment in Windows centric, and they run Active Directory and 365. There is though also some Mac work

The IT team are high available & provide exceptional support to their user base. They pride themselvers on providing an exceptional customer experience each and every time.

So what are we looking for?

• Some commercial tech support experince, ideally from a Windows setting
• Some IT certifications - probably a Cert IV or an IT Diploma. MS or Cisco certs would also be beneficial
• A real customer centric, approachable nature
• Someone happy to come onsite to the workplace 5 days a week
