Job summary

LGT Wealth Management is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the Technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Melbourne. You will provide frontline and second-line end-user computing support for hardware and software, and contribute to ongoing improvements in end-user services.

You will work with Windows, Office, and iOS devices, manage IAM tasks, deploy laptops, and assist with project-related tasks under senior guidance. A strong customer focus is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Helpdesk/Technical Support role
• Experience in financial services is desirable
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Apple iOS devices
• Strong email/messaging skills (Outlook/Exchange/Teams)
• Familiar with endpoint management tools (SCCM/Intune)
• Active Directory and GPO knowledge
• MDM experience (Intune)
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira/Ivanti)
• ITIL service management familiarity
• Teamwork and customer focus skill
• Excellent documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline/second-line IT support to users in Australian offices
• Triaging service requests and incidents to appropriate teams
• Own issues/tasks and ensure timely closure
• Diagnose and resolve incidents per SLAs
• Deploy IT workstations and peripherals
• Image/deploy laptops for new starters
• Support IAM tasks (provisioning, access control, passwords)
• Create/maintain process documentation
• Manage IT consumables stock and reorders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex issues
• Coordinate with vendors for printers and quotes
• Identify improvements to end-user computing services
• Assist with project tasks and testing under guidance
