Job summary

Randstad Digital is seeking a Brisbane-based IT Support & Systems Officer for a 3-month contract. The role blends service desk triage with system administration, user access management, and project rollouts to ensure secure and reliable IT operations.

You will work hands-on across Microsoft 365, OpenText Content Manager, and CCTV infrastructure, with opportunities to train staff and contribute to security controls. Salary is pro-rated for the contract period.

Qualifications

IT SUPPORT URGENTLY NEEDED

3 Month-Contract

Brisbane

We are looking for a customer-focused IT Support & Systems Officer to deliver responsive first-line support while managing core business systems, user access, and security controls across multiple platforms. This hands-on role seamlessly blends service desk triage with system administration, application support, and key IT project rollouts to ensure secure and reliable technical operations.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver responsive first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, managing the full lifecycle of support tickets from triage to resolution.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations across platforms like Microsoft 365, Asset Management, and OpenText Content Manager.
• Coordinate the setup, deployment, patching, and maintenance of IT equipment, while supporting cybersecurity controls and access protocols.
• Support key business applications (SharePoint, Power Automate, MS Forms) and assist with the setup and maintenance of CCTV systems and infrastructure.
• Provide informal and structured training to staff, maintain technical documentation, and assist with the deployment of specialised IT projects.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Certificate or Diploma in IT (or currently studying toward one) is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience in IT support, service desk triage, system administration, and managing user access.
• Familiarity with OpenText Content Manager, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Intune, Cisco/Sophos networking, and virtual infrastructure.
• Openness to participate in some after-hours activities and overtime when required by business needs, valid driver's licence for site travel, and National Police Check.
