Job summary

McGibbon Consulting is seeking an IT Services Manager for a well-recognised healthcare services client. The role leads a team delivering Desktop, EUC and site support across multi-site locations in the Perth metro, with on-site presence in Osborne Park.

You will define operating rhythms, manage performance metrics and SLAs, and partner with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure reliable IT service delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in IT Service Management across the full lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting technology services across complex environments.
  • Ability to build relationships and align technology with user needs.
  • People-focused leadership, collaboration and coaching.
  • Technical expertise in MS operating environment, EUC and hardware/workplace technologies.
  • ITIL service management knowledge.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Defining the operating rhythm, setting expectations and leading the team to deliver service excellence.
  • Overseeing the team to deliver desktop and EUC support across multi-site locations.
  • Managing key operational performance metrics and SLAs, with reporting to the Head of Service Delivery.
  • Facilitating seamless delivery of workplace technology initiatives.
  • Fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, acting as escalation point.
  • Operating with a continuous improvement mindset and contributing to processes that enhance user experience.
  • Managing the planning, acquisition, maintenance and renewal of technology infrastructure assets.
  • IT Vendor Management.

The IT Services Manager is a key and critical role, delivering across multi-site operations. As a natural leader, you will provide guidance and oversight to a team supporting Desktop, EUC and Site support activities. Leveraging your relationship management skills, you’ll engage with a range of internal stakeholders, build trusted partnerships and delivering a reliable service to the end user.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the operating rhythm, setting expectations and leading the team to deliver service excellence
  • Overseeing the team to deliver hard and soft IT services including Desktop Support and EUC support across multi-site locations
  • Managing key operational performance metrics and SLAs, with reporting up to the Head of Service Delivery
  • Facilitating the seamless delivery of workplace technology initiatives
  • Fostering positive and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders (clinical and non-clinical), acting as the escalation point
  • Operating with a continuous improvement mindset, contributing to initiatives and processes that enhance the user experience
  • Managing the planning, acquisition, maintenance and renewal of technology infrastructure assets
  • IT Vendor Management
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Significant experience coming from an IT Service Management role working across the full lifecycle
  • Experience supporting technology services across complex environments
  • The ability to build relationships, adept at cultivating productive partnerships and aligning technology services with user needs
  • A people focused leaderships style, empowering and building the capability of their through collaboration and coaching, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Technical expertise in a MS operating environment as well as EUC and hardware/workplace technologies
  • ITIL service management knowledge
  • Sound experience with ticketing systems
You’ll be part of a connected national team of leaders, with your efforts and those of your team contributing to broader business objectives. It’s a unique blend of people leadership and IT service management.
This is a role which requires on-site presence and the ability to work across predominately Perth metro based locations. Your main base will be Osborne Park.
