Job summary

Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is seeking an IT Service Operations Analyst to join our IT team and deliver high-quality support across end-user computing, Microsoft 365 and event technology. You’ll support staff, prep IT services for conferences and events, and provide on-site and remote assistance during live events.

You will work closely with IT leadership to ensure consistent service delivery, troubleshooting, and readiness checks for events while developing broader IT

Qualifications

• Solid technical foundation with a strong customer-service mindset and curiosity to develop.
• Exposure to Windows 365, end-user computing and event technology is desirable.
• A tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline is desirable, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting events, venue technology, or IT service management processes would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support across end-user technology and Microsoft 365.
• Manage incidents and service requests from initial contact to resolution or escalation.
• Troubleshoot endpoint, connectivity and access issues.
• Assist with preparation, configuration and deployment of IT services for conferences and events.
• Complete pre-event readiness checks to ensure services are ready for clients.
• Provide on-site and remote IT support during live events.
• Work with networking technologies including wired and wireless connectivity.
• Follow established processes and runbooks to deliver reliable services.
• Maintain accurate support records, asset records and knowledge articles.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve IT delivery.
