Job summary

Blackroc is seeking a technically hands-on IT Manager to lead an internal IT/OT function across a large Australian industrial group in Bundaberg. You’ll inherit a seven-person team and own day-to-day service delivery, security, architecture and modernisation.

This role reports to the CFO with line to the CEO, managing infrastructure, ERP, databases, integrations and development. On-site, permanent, relocation considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT teams in complex environments.
• Breadth across infrastructure, applications, databases and security.
• Ability to guide architecture and integrations in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience with ERP and core business applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the internal IT team.
• Oversee IT and Operational Technology across the group.
• Improve cyber security and incident response.
• Manage infrastructure, networks and end-user computing.
• Oversee ERP and core business applications.
• Manage SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Guide systems architecture and integrations.
• Oversee custom software development and automation.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery and resilience.
• Oversee IT budgets, licensing, procurement and suppliers.
