Australian not-for-profit organization in Sydney seeks an IT Operations & Security Lead to own day-to-day technology operations and cybersecurity. You will work with internal specialists, developers and external providers to strengthen a Microsoft-based environment and protect sensitive information.

The role covers IT operations, security, service improvement and governance, coordinating ISMS activities and vendor risk management.

Formación

• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft cloud and end-user environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune and Windows endpoints.
• Background in IT operations, infrastructure administration, service management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, information security risk management and audit requirements.
• Experience managing technology vendors, service providers and support escalations.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Relevant IT/cybersecurity qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Microsoft, ISO 27001, ITIL or cybersecurity certifications will be well regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Own the day-to-day operation of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows endpoints.
• Provide hands-on IT support, troubleshooting and service improvement.
• Monitor performance, incidents, changes, and recurring issues.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements.
• Apply security controls across identity, endpoints, cloud services and applications.
• Monitor security alerts, vulnerabilities and incidents with vendor coordination.
• Oversee access management, privileged access, authentication, patching.
• Coordinate ISO 27001 ISMS activities, risk assessments, policies and audits.
• Assess risks related to vendors and cloud services.
• Improve IT procedures, documentation, automation and reporting.
