Job summary

Nippon Express is seeking an IT Analyst to join our team at Kemps Creek, Sydney, Australia. The role reports locally and regionally and focuses on business applications, system implementation, and user management for logistics IT solutions.

You will support WMS operations, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive improvements through data analysis and cross-functional coordination. Prior logistics/3PL exposure is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in IT support, business systems analysis, or applications support.
• Real-time, on-site operational IT support.
• Strong understanding of WMS or similar warehouse systems.
• Experience with EDI/API integrations, troubleshooting, and system issue resolution.
• Ability to analyse data, identify improvements, and present insights to stakeholders.
• Comfortable liaising between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in logistics, 3PL, or warehouse operations is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day business intelligence (analytics) and IT support as a WMS expert for 3PL warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Monitor EDI/API interfaces and coordinate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Identify and resolve system or workflow errors, including operator training as required.
• Support UAT and post-implementation reviews for system changes.
• Analyse operational data and provide insights to management.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Identify and lead systems integration as required.

The Role

We are looking for an IT Analyst to join our team at Kemps Creek. This role has both local and Regional reporting lines and is suitable to persons with strong expertise in the business applications domain, ideally with a techno-commercial background from customer-facing roles, particularly in system implementation and user management.

Experience in the logistics domain is desirable but not essential.
