Job summary

QBE Insurance Group in Adelaide seeks an experienced Underwriter – Commercial Property with ISR capability to deliver sustainable profit and growth. You’ll underwrite ISR Property business, manage both new business and a renewal portfolio, and build broker relationships with strong technical insight.

The role sits within a geographically distributed Commercial Underwriting team, requiring sound judgment, collaboration, and the ability to engage with brokers in the Adelaide market.

Qualifications

• Underwriting ISR or commercial property experience preferred.
• Experience managing broker relationships and portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite ISR Property business within guidelines and authority.
• Manage Adelaide broker-based panel with timely quotes and underwriting support.
• Build broker relationships and engage with local market stakeholders.
• Support retention and profitable growth of the commercial property portfolio.
• Maintain underwriting records and compliance with internal requirements.
• Collaborate with wider Commercial Underwriting team.
