Job summary

Mitti Insurance, part of SafetyCulture, seeks a Head of Property in Australia to build and lead the ISR Property underwriting function. You will establish a profitable, well-underwritten portfolio of ISR and related commercial lines while developing the team, broker relationships, and market credibility across Australia.

You set underwriting strategy, own portfolio performance, and collaborate with actuarial, claims and product teams to ensure pricing adequacy, coverage alignment and compliant

Qualifications

• Proven experience under-writing ISR and commercial liability lines.
• Ability to manage ISR portfolio with P&L focus, pricing, capacity and reinsurance.
• Strong knowledge of AFSL/ASIC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ISR Property underwriting portfolio in Australia.
• Lead and develop underwriting team with a culture of technical excellence.
• Drive broker engagement and build market credibility for ISR in Australia.
• Set underwriting guidelines and authority frameworks aligned with reinsurance.
