Job summary

Gameloft Brisbane seeks a versatile Narrative Game Designer and Scriptwriter to shape the voice and soul of our upcoming project. The role blends narrative architecture with scriptwriting and requires immersion into the IP, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the narrative aligns with the brand and enhances gameplay.

You will translate narrative beats into playable moments, design branching storylines, and work within Unreal Engine to implement dialogue and world-building elements.

Qualifications

• Proven writing portfolio showing ability to write in character for IPs.
• Experience integrating narrative with gameplay systems.
• Ability to translate IP lore into dialogues and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Write dialogue, cinematic scripts and ambient dialogue to drive the plot.
• Bridge story and gameplay by translating narrative beats into playable moments.
• Design narrative structures and branching dialogue responsive to player choices.
• Implement content within development tools and Unreal Engine.
