Job summary

Brighter Super in Sydney seeks an Investment Risk Analyst to support oversight of investment risk across the Brighter Super portfolio. You will work with an experienced Investment Risk team to monitor risks, deliver insights, maintain robust reporting and help enhance risk frameworks and models.

This role offers exposure to market, liquidity, counterparty and climate risk across asset classes, with collaboration across Investments, Risk and Compliance to deliver strong outcomes for our members.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment risk, investments, analytics, consulting or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of market risk, liquidity risk and/or counterparty risk.
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or related discipline.
• Strong quantitative and technical skills including data analysis, simulations and risk modelling.
• Experience interpreting risk metrics such as tracking error, active risk and risk attribution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse investment risks across the Fund's portfolio, identifying trends and exposures.
• Support weekly liquidity risk monitoring and quarterly APRA liquidity reporting obligations.
• Produce accurate risk reporting, dashboards and analyses for decision-making.
• Contribute to enhancement of risk models and reporting frameworks.
• Assist in preparing committee papers and governance reporting.
• Support data risk strategy and reporting uplift initiatives.
