Job summary

Numbers Executive is partnering with a leading investment bank to appoint an Analyst and an Associate to their TMT team in either Melbourne or Sydney. You will play a hands-on role in the execution of high profile M&A mandates, working closely with senior bankers and preparing pitch books and marketing materials.

Associates will take greater ownership of workstreams and participate in deal execution and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience at Analyst or Associate level in investment banking or a large corporate advisor.
• Local experience in technology, infrastructure or digital infrastructure preferred.
• Strong analytical rigour and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of high-profile M&A mandates and prepare pitch books and other marketing materials.
• As an Analyst, support financial modelling and valuation; as an Associate, take ownership of workstreams and contribute to deal execution and client interaction.

Our Client Numbers Executive is partnering with a leading investment bank to appoint an Analyst and an Associate to their TMT team in either Melbourne or Sydney. With deep local expertise and global reach, the team has an impressive track record of executing some of the most high-profile transactions in the sector.

The Opportunity As an Analyst or Associate, you will play a hands-on role in the execution of high profile M&A mandates. Working closely with senior bankers, you will be responsible for financial modelling, valuation analysis and the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials. Associates will additionally take on greater ownership of workstreams, providing guidance to Analysts and playing a more active role in deal execution and client interaction.

Required skills & experience Successful applicants will have existing experience (at Analyst or Associate level) working for an investment bank or large corporate advisor. Local experience across technology, infrastructure and/or digital infrastructure will be viewed favourably. Experience aside, we are looking for candidates with strong analytical rigour, a genuine interest in the sector, and the drive to work collaboratively within a talented and collegiate team.
