Job summary

Wolf & Williams is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its TMT practice in Sydney, Australia. This broad role spans major technology transactions with advisory work across data, AI, cyber, and telecom matters.

You’ll advise Australian and international clients, work with different Partners, and have the chance to develop a specialization as your career progresses. Australian lawyers returning to Sydney are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• TMT experience from a top-tier firm or equivalent.
• Exposure to technology contracting, privacy, data or cyber.
• Experience in both transactional and advisory matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise major Australian and international clients on Data & AI governance, regulation, and AI-related transactions.
• Handle cyber incident response, regulatory investigations, and cyber preparedness.
• Work on technology & telecommunications projects, data centres and M&A.
• Address technology aspects of corporate transactions, integrations and carve-outs.
• Assist with start-up, innovation and media-related matters.

Top-tier Australian firm | AI, Cyber & Technology | Major transactional + advisory work

I’m working with a leading top-tier Australian firm looking to add an Associate or Senior Associate to its TMT practice in Sydney.

This is a particularly broad TMT role, combining major technology transactions with work across some of the fastest-developing areas of the market.

The work

You’ll advise major Australian and international clients across matters involving:

• Data & AI including governance, regulation, commercialisation and AI-related transactions
• Cyber including incident response, regulatory investigations and cyber preparedness
• Technology & telecommunications including major commercial projects, data centres, infrastructure and M&A
• Technology aspects of corporate transactions, integrations and carve-outs
• Start-up, innovation and media-related matters

The client base spans technology, financial services, infrastructure, healthcare, media and other major industries.
