Job summary

KW Partners in Sydney is seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Analyst to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial platform with an enviable deal flow across M&A, capital markets and strategic advisory. You will work alongside senior bankers and gain significant responsibility early in the transaction lifecycle.

As an Analyst you will support deal execution, build detailed financial models and valuations, conduct company and market analysis, and prepare client presentations and due diligence

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in investment banking or corporate advisory.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.

The Role

As an Analyst, you will be an integral member of deal teams across both transaction execution and new business activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the execution of M&A, capital markets and strategic advisory transactions
• Building detailed financial models and undertaking valuation, transaction and scenario analysis
• Conducting company, industry and market analysis
• Preparing DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
• Assisting with transaction structuring and the evaluation of strategic alternatives
• Preparing high-quality client presentations, pitch materials and transaction documentation
• Supporting and coordinating due diligence processes
• Working directly with senior bankers, clients, advisers and transaction counterparties
• Supporting senior team members on origination and new business opportunities
• Developing a strong understanding of clients, sectors and broader market dynamics

About You

We are looking for a highly intelligent, driven and commercially minded individual with a genuine interest in investment banking and transactions.

You will ideally bring:

• 1–3 years’ relevant experience within investment banking, corporate advisory, transaction services or a similarly analytical environment
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
