Job summary

Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission (IBAC) in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Investigations Manager to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team in handling highly complex matters within IBAC’s jurisdiction. • Extensive experience in conducting and managing sensitive investigations.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary investigation teams.
• Experience using traditional and contemporary investigative techniques.
• Formal qualifications in investigations or law enforcement are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Investigations Unit program of work, overseeing investigations within the unit.
• Direct and conduct investigations in accordance with legislation, processes and procedures.
• Review complex materials including affidavits, warrants, briefs of evidence and court documents.
• Develop and implement policy frameworks and procedures for investigations within IBAC and across the organisation.
• Collaborate across the organisation on policy frameworks and procedures.
