Job summary

Blackbook Executive is recruiting for an experienced Inventory Optimisation Manager for a leading FMCG business in Melbourne. You’ll shape the inventory strategy, drive smarter decisions and improve working capital by ensuring the right stock is available at the right time.

In this high impact role you’ll own end-to-end inventory optimisation, analyse performance, partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Finance, and lead continuous improvement to embed best-practice

Qualifications

• Experience across inventory, supply chain, planning or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Confident using data to influence decisions and drive action.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Comfortable operating in a fast paced, high performing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive inventory optimisation across the business.
• Analyse inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve stock levels and availability.
• Balance customer service, working capital and supply chain risk.
• Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Finance.
• Drive initiatives to reduce excess and slow moving inventory.
• Develop insights and reporting to support better decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement and embed best-practice inventory processes.
