Job summary

KBR is seeking an Inventory Officer to optimise supply chain operations by analysing logistics systems and supporting plans that improve product flow and inventory control. You will coordinate stakeholders and support processes that align with delivery goals, contributing to reliable distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS or substantial related experience, 2 years in Procurement/SCM, strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field; in lieu of degree, 10 years of progressive experience; 4 years of military experience may substitute.
• 2 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management
• Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project and database maintenance and reporting
• Strong written and oral communications
• Strong relationship skills and stakeholder management across all levels

Responsibilities

• Analyse and implement logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory to enhance product flow
• Analyse, and participate in the development, and implementation of logistics plans affecting the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products
• Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyse requirements to develop strategies for delivery times and fill rates
• Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports
• Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers
• Provide activity and status reports to management
