Job summary

COS is seeking a Leading Hand - Inventory PM to support the Team Manager by leading daily inventory control activities at the Distribution Centre. You will drive stock accuracy, manage cycle counts and investigations, and ensure timely resolution of stock discrepancies.

You will lead, coach and develop a team, promoting safety, accuracy and accountability while upholding procedures and documentation. A strong focus on stock movement, replenishment and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or inventory control environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate daily inventory activities.
• Solid understanding of inventory control processes including cycle counts, stock investigations, replenishment, putaway and stock accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations and resource allocation — cycle counts, audits, investigations and replenishment.
• Maintain audit-ready inventory control with disciplined procedures and documentation.
• Lead, train and mentor the team to build inventory capability and drive performance.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure WHS, manual handling, MHE, racking and DG requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to stock accuracy, workflows, and replenishment.
• Collaborate with operational teams to align priorities and resolve stock risks.
