Job summary

COS, a leading Australian office supplies company, invites applications for a Leading Hand - Inventory PM to oversee daily inventory operations at our distribution centre in Sydney. You will lead a team, coordinate cycle counts, investigations and replenishment, ensuring accuracy and on-time stock movements.

You will work with cross-functional teams to minimize service impact, uphold safety, and drive continuous improvement in stock control and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse/inventory teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of cycle counts, stock investigations, replenishment and accuracy.
• Experience using WMS/RF scanning and basic computer systems for stock control and reporting.
• Proven ability to identify issues, investigate discrepancies and document actions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations and resource allocation, including cycle counts and replenishment.
• Maintain audit-ready inventory control with disciplined procedures and traceability.
• Lead, train and mentor the team to improve accuracy, safety and performance.
• Champion safety and WHS practices; support incident reporting and risk assessments.
• Identify improvements to stock workflows, layout and SOP updates.
