Job summary

Cement Australia is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Pinkenba site and manage inventory accuracy, replenishment, and stock availability across our national network.

Working with production, logistics and suppliers, you will analyse data, resolve discrepancies and implement process improvements to keep products moving and inventory at optimal levels. The role hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in inventory control or replenishment.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing or FMCG environments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret inventory data.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation to manage multiple tasks.
• SAP inventory experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, replenishment and stock accuracy across the national network.
• Coordinate and procure raw materials to support manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor stock availability and proactively address potential supply issues.
• Manage cycle counts and investigate inventory and production variances.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement preventative solutions.
• Coordinate stock transfers with Freight & Logistics teams.
• Work with suppliers and transport providers to ensure timely arrivals.
• Process inventory-related purchase requisitions and orders; resolve invoices.
• Analyse inventory, production and supplier performance and report findings.
• Support Operations, Sales and Customer Service with inventory queries.
• Identify and implement system, process and inventory control improvements.
