Job summary

Glencore Ravensworth Operations is seeking an Inventory Controller to maintain stock accuracy and support safe, reliable mining operations.

You will manage aged, obsolete and surplus inventory, coordinate stocktakes, and ensure SAP transactions are accurate. A forklift licence and experience with SAP MM/S4HANA are highly regarded. This role offers strong career development and a competitive remuneration package.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in warehousing, logistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience maintaining high inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Experience with aged, obsolete, surplus inventory management.
• Experience with critical spares and bulk consumables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies.
• Commitment to safety and data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with SAP MM / SAP S/4HANA is highly regarded.
• Forklift licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and optimise stock for safe operations.
• Identify and manage aged, obsolete, surplus inventory; reduce excess stock.
• Manage day-to-day bulk consumables to support maintenance.
• Support inventory optimisation across critical spares and repairables.
• Coordinate stocktakes, cycle counts, and audits; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory transactions and stock movements are processed in SAP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align inventory with equipment reliability.
• Identify opportunities to reduce working capital and maximise value.
