Job summary

Encore are a global event technologies company that specialises in hybrid and in-person events that connect and inspire. We are seeking an Inventory Controller to join our operations team, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role ensures equipment for each event is available, while handling administrative duties and ensuring paperwork for Equipment Control is accurate and efficient. Responsibilities include identifying shortages, coordinating transfers, liaising with staff, and managing

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control for events or similar environments.
• Ability to liaise with staff across departments to source and transfer equipment.
• Strong cost awareness and ability to monitor department budgets.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment shortages and cross-hired items and their origin.
• Maintain awareness of department cost parameters and control operating costs.
• Liaise with relevant staff regarding required or needed equipment.
• Communicate alternatives to transferring or cross-hiring equipment.
• Assist with transfer preparation and deliveries.
• Generate transfers for base and venues and check equipment availability.
• Follow up on equipment damage or loss with relevant departments.
• Assess and provide input on the purchase of new equipment.
• Source and negotiate best price practices with Sub Rent suppliers.
