Job summary

Princess Polly E-Boutique on the Gold Coast seeks an organised Inventory Controller to join our Distribution team. You will coordinate daily workflow, allocate resources, support the team on the floor and ensure stock accuracy and timely fulfilment.

You’ll investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, partner with inbound/outbound, retail, returns and IT, and coach the Inventory team to meet KPIs, safety and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Inventory, fulfilment, warehouse or DC operations.
• Experience leading, supporting or coaching a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, stock control and fulfilment processes.
• Experience with WMS, inventory systems and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow, allocate resources and ensure the team stays focused on priorities, productivity, accuracy and SLAs.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, failed actions, oversold stock and problem orders, whilst working cross-functionally to keep fulfilment moving.
• Provide day-to-day direction, support and coaching to the Inventory team
• Keep a close eye on workflow, backlogs, inventory accuracy and KPIs, identifying risks and taking action before they impact operations.
• Use data, team feedback and operational insights to identify recurring issues, uncover root causes and drive practical improvements.
• Partner with Inbound, Outbound, Retail, Returns, and IT to resolve issues and keep stock and customer orders on track.

We’re looking for an organised, hands-on and solutions-focused Inventory Controller to join our Distribution team. You'll work closely with the Inventory Team Leader to keep our inventory operations running smoothly, coordinating workflow, allocating resources, and supporting the team on the floor to deliver daily priorities safely, accurately, and efficiently.
