Job summary

Princess Polly Online Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking an organized Inventory Controller to support the Distribution team. You will coordinate daily workflow, allocate resources, and ensure accuracy and timely fulfilment across stock movements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in inventory or DC operations, with experience coaching a team, knowledge of stock control, WMS and Excel, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Inventory, fulfilment, warehouse or DC operations.
• Experience leading, supporting or coaching a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, stock control and fulfilment processes.
• Experience with WMS, inventory systems and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and keep things moving.
• A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset.
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow, allocate resources and ensure the team stays focused on priorities, productivity, accuracy and SLAs.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, failed actions, oversold stock and problem orders, whilst working cross-functionally to keep fulfilment moving.
• Provide day-to-day direction, support and coaching to the Inventory team
• Keep a close eye on workflow, backlogs, inventory accuracy and KPIs, identifying risks and taking action before they impact operations.
• Use data, team feedback and operational insights to identify recurring issues, uncover root causes and drive practical improvements.
• Partner with Inbound, Outbound, Retail, Returns, and IT to resolve issues and keep stock and customer orders on track.
