Job summary

Fire and Safety Industries Pty Ltd is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to join the Mansfield Inventory team on a full-time, Monday to Friday roster. The role includes processing orders, receiving stock, and coordinating domestic and international shipments.

You will manage supplier follow-ups, track deliveries and provide backup support to the Inventory team. A minimum of 2+ years in inventory, logistics or warehouse coordination is required, with strong customer service and computer

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in inventory, logistics or warehouse coordination.
• Manufacturing, mining or heavy industry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders.
• Receipt stock accurately and on time.
• Follow up suppliers on deliveries, lead times and delays.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments (booking freight, documentation, tracking).
• Respond to emails and phone inquiries.
• Provide backup support to Inventory team.

The position:

We are seeking an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to work full-time in our Mansfield Inventory team on a Monday to Friday roster.

The duties will include:

• Process customer orders
• Receipt stock accurately and on time
• Follow up suppliers on deliveries, lead times, and delays
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments including:
  • Booking freight and coordinating courier pickups
  • Preparing and processing documentation including international shipments
  • Tracking shipments and following up on any delivery issues
  • Communicating with transport providers to ensure timely deliveries
• Responding to email enquiriesand answering phone calls
• Providing backup support to the Inventory team

About You:

• Min 2+ years experience in inventory, logistics or warehouse coordination
• Experience in manufacturing, mining or heavy industry preferred
• Exceptional customer service focus
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• High attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Adaptable
• Sound computer skills
