Betterway Transport is seeking an experienced Intrastate Truck Driver to join our growing transport team in Ipswich, Queensland. This full-time role involves safely transporting goods across Queensland and maintaining our reputation for reliable service.

You will be responsible for timely deliveries, route planning, and staying compliant with regulations. The position requires a current HC licence with a clean driving record, proven truck driving experience, and strong knowledge of Queensland

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Combination (HC) licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver in the road transport industry.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland roads and intrastate routes.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

• Commitment to road safety and compliance with transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan and execute routes to meet delivery schedules whilst optimising fuel consumption.
• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Load, secure and unload freight in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, including distance travelled, fuel consumption and delivery records.
• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff and dispatch teams.
• Comply with fatigue management regulations and safe work practices.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks to keep vehicles road-worthy.

Betterway Transport is seeking an experienced Intrastate Truck Driver to join our growing transport team. This is a full-time position based in Ipswich, Queensland. As an Intrastate Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across Queensland, maintaining our reputation for reliable and professional service delivery. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that our clients receive their freight on time and in perfect condition.

Key responsibilities

Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies

Plan and execute routes to meet delivery schedules whilst optimising fuel consumption

Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
