Job summary

Breeze Logistics Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks an Interstate Freight Co-Ordinator to lead planning, coordination and execution of all inbound and outbound interstate freight movements, with a strong focus on refrigerated line haul operations and cost control.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers, drivers and internal teams to maximise efficiency, maintain service standards and achieve financial objectives while supporting local transport operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in transport or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of refrigerated transport and interstate line haul loading.
• Proven experience coordinating freight movements and resolving operational issues.
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and negotiation skills.
• Intermediate Excel and ability to interpret operational reports.
• Understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all inbound and outbound interstate freight movements.
• Plan and manage refrigerated line haul loading to maximise vehicle utilisation and profitability.
• Negotiate and coordinate freight movements with transport providers and suppliers.
• Monitor daily operations and proactively resolve service issues and delays.
• Lead, support, and motivate team members to achieve targets.
• Coordinate team meetings, assign actions, and follow through on outcomes.
• Collaborate with Local Operations to improve service delivery and performance.
• Build relationships with customers, transport providers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve margins.
• Prepare accurate operational reports and analyse performance data.
