Job summary

The Compliance Assistant at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) supports international student recruitment and compliance activities within the DVC International portfolio. This full-time fixed-term role focuses on Genuine Student (GS) assessment, international student management compliance, and monitoring visa requirements.

Qualifications

• GS assessments and interviews experience.
• Familiarity with ESOS Act, National Code and SSVF requirements in a university setting.
• Data analysis, identifying trends, and reporting.
• Experience in international higher education environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to international student recruitment and management compliance activities.
• Maximise the sustainability of the international student program.
• Assess students against Genuine Student (GS) criteria.
• Support management of SSVF risk ratings and related data.
• Compile and analyse information related to GS processing.
• Monitor and report on emerging trends and issues.
• Process student release requests and refunds for commencing students.
• Work flexible hours to meet overseas market requirements.
